Most juries reluctant to find a criminal defendant legally insane

Juries don’t particularly like the insanity defense.

Of course, when individual jurors are picked to serve in a criminal trial they promise to consider all the evidence and follow the law. That also applies to cases in which a defendant has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.
